Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of basic computer and reservation systems
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • ability to maintain professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • basic understanding of menu items and dietary restrictions
  • capable of handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Job Duties

  • Seats guests and manages the flow of reservations to maximize the guest experience
  • answers phone calls and responds to guest inquiries
  • takes, tracks, and organizes reservations, group seating requests, and other special requests
  • completes to-go orders
  • approaches guests to collect information for seat and bar arrangements
  • communicates effectively with guests and team members
  • works independently
  • follows and enforces all hotel standards
  • assists service staff with food service
  • ensures efficient and timely service for an excellent dining experience
  • completes opening, closing, and side work
  • sets up food carts and service stations
  • supports all staff to better serve guests
  • delivers food and beverages accurately and timely
  • builds expo tickets on food and kitchen line
  • monitors each guest's dining experience
  • pre-sets and clears tables
  • maintains knowledge of menu items related to dietary restrictions
  • maintains clean dining area
  • ensures equipment is operational and supplies are adequate
  • reports repair needs and supply orders
  • monitors cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
  • follows service, operation, safety, and security standards
  • works cohesively with coworkers and departments
  • adheres to attendance and reliability standards
  • performs additional duties as assigned by management
