The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is currently seeking dedicated and personable individuals to join its Miss River restaurant team as hosts or hostesses. This role represents the first point of contact for guests dining at the restaurant, making it essential in shaping remarkable dining experiences. Hosts and hostesses at Four Seasons play a vital role by welcoming guests warmly, managing reservations and table assignments efficiently, and ensuring that the dining environment is impeccably maintained. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with serving staff to maintain smooth restaurant operations. Beyond greeting and seating guests, hosts and hostesses must be knowledgeable about the menu offerings and capable of enhancing the guests’ experience through thoughtful service and attentiveness.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years’ experience in food and beverage service
- Ability to operate computer equipment and utilize food and beverage computer systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to work afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a luxury hospitality environment
Job Qualifications
- One to two years’ previous experience in food & beverage outlet
- Previous employment experience within a luxury hotels is considered an asset
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
- Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections
- Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information
