The Host/Hostess position at the CoStar Food Hall in Richmond, VA, offers a full-time opportunity for those with previous hospitality experience. Scheduled generally from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with varying days, this role is integral to creating a welcoming environment and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The pay range for this position is competitive, ranging from $17.00 to $28.00 per hour, reflecting both the responsibility and the skills required. The Host/Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing seating arrangements and addressing any customer service situations professionally and promptly. Responsibilities also include supervising food service associates, ensuring safety and sanitation procedures are followed, and assisting with service and dining room closing duties.
