Flik Hospitality Group is currently hiring full-time Host/Hostess positions at its location in CapOne DFW, situated at 2333 South International Parkway, Dallas, TX 75261. This role is essential within the hospitality framework, involving direct interaction with guests and the management of the dining room seating process to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with additional perks such as free meals, uniforms, and laundering services at select locations. The company also provides an internal employee referral bonus, encouraging current staff to participate in the recruitment process.
As a Host/Hostess for Flik Hospitality Group, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, warmly welcoming and seating residents in the dining area. This role demands excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor, as you will be responsible for managing guest seating arrangements, handling customer service situations, and maintaining an enjoyable and safe dining environment. Beyond greeting guests, you will have supervisory duties, including overseeing food-service associates to ensure compliance with customer service, food handling, and sanitation standards. Additional responsibilities include training new team members, assisting with service tasks such as bussing and food service, and managing emergency procedures when necessary.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work full-time and varied days and hours based on business needs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Willingness to assist with food service and cleaning duties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greets and directs guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
- Helps create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates
- Exhibits exceptional communications skills
- Gets along well with others, demonstrates flexibility and patience
- possesses an interest in people
- Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared
- Supervises the activities of food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Helps train new food-service team members
- Supervises the closing of the assigned dining room
- ensures side work and station setup is properly completed
- Demonstrates knowledge of emergency safety procedures and helps evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or other emergency
- Assists with service, including occasional bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- May be asked to operate equipment, including but not limited to fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
- Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties and during special events or functions
- Performs other duties as assigned
