Job Requirements

  • Previous hosting experience required
  • Availability Tuesday through Sunday including weekends
  • Ability to work from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Ability to perform duties involving standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to comply with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Previous hosting experience

  • Flexibility to work Tuesday through Sunday including weekends
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Basic knowledge of emergency safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
  • Help create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promote a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates
  • Exhibit exceptional communications skills
  • Get along well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience
  • Possess an interest in people
  • Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • Supervise the activities of food-service associates in the dining room ensuring proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Help train new food-service team members
  • Supervise the closing of the assigned dining room ensuring side work and station setup is properly completed
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and help evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or other emergency
  • Assist with service including occasional bussing and food service while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Operate equipment including but not limited to fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
  • Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties and during special events or functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
