Job Description

Paradies Lagardère is a leading hospitality and travel retailer dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences across its diverse Dining Division. At Paradies Lagardère, the mission is to maintain first-class standards that not only meet but exceed the expectations of the customers and business partners served. The company operates with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and a passion for hospitality, specializing not just in restaurant operations but in crafting memorable dining experiences. Known for its inspiring restaurant designs, live entertainment, and top-quality culinary offerings, Paradies Lagardère delivers exceptional hospitality that resonates with travelers and food enthusiasts alike. With its headquarters located at 2849 Paces Ferry Road, Suite 400, Atlanta, Georgia, Paradies Lagardère continues to expand its impact by fostering a family culture centered on core values known as TRIFIC, which stand for Trust, Respect, Integrity, First-Class, Innovation, and Commitment.

The role available at Paradies Lagardère is that of a Host within its Dining Division. This position is critical to maintaining the company’s mission as it entails providing a warm, welcoming, and positive image of the company to all guests and team members. Those who join the team will embody the essence of first-class service by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient hospitality at all times. The Host position is much more than managing guest seating or handling wait times — it involves actively engaging with guests to create lasting first and last impressions that are integral to the Paradies Lagardère brand. Responsibilities include managing the seating process with attention to server rotation, processing to-go orders accurately, answering menu-related questions with confidence, and maintaining a clean and professional host stand. Beyond these tasks, Hosts support the team by assisting servers and food runners as needed, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This position demands an individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and an unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate excels in a high-energy, customer-facing setting, promptly responding to customer concerns while ensuring safety, sanitation, and compliance with applicable laws are strictly followed. Paradies Lagardère highly values employees who uphold a respectful and harassment-free workplace, emphasizing trust and integrity as foundational elements. Candidates should be comfortable working various shifts in a seven-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year operational environment, reflecting the company's commitment to round-the-clock service excellence.

In terms of experience and qualifications, Paradies Lagardère welcomes candidates with at least a high school diploma or GED. While prior food and beverage experience in a full-service setting is preferred, it is not required, reflecting the company’s investment in training and development. The Host role requires effective communication, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and the physical capacity to perform essential job functions such as standing for extended periods, maneuvering heavy trays, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in varied temperature conditions.

Joining Paradies Lagardère means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to creating unique and engaging experiences for every traveler and diner who walks through their doors. The company empowers its employees by fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and an unwavering commitment to service standards that define the brand’s exemplary reputation. If you have a passion for hospitality, an infectious smile, and a desire to be part of a first-class dining experience, this Host position at Paradies Lagardère is an excellent opportunity to grow, succeed, and impact the travel hospitality industry profoundly.
