This position reports directly to the Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Manager on Duty, and serves as a vital link between guests and the service team. Hosts also bear responsibility for monitoring the dining room activity to optimize seating and balance server workloads, ensuring both guests and staff have an efficient and pleasant experience.

Beyond guest reception and seating management, the Host/Hostess is expected to maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entryways, along with helping with table clearing and resetting when necessary. Physical demands include standing and walking for long periods, with occasional lifting and moving of menus and seating supplies. The work environment can be busy and fast-paced, requiring the ability to multi-task, adapt to changing guest flow, and communicate calmly and clearly under pressure. The role also demands teamwork and professionalism, with collaboration between servers, cooks, and management being essential to maintain a seamless dining atmosphere. Job Duties
