The role of the Host/Hostess at the C&G Grille is vital in setting the tone for a guest's dining experience and ensuring seamless operations within the restaurant. Acting as an ambassador for both the casino and the dining outlet itself, the Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests entering the establishment. This position requires a blend of professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. Hosts and Hostesses are responsible for greeting guests with genuine hospitality, providing timely assistance, and ensuring every guest feels valued and comfortable. A key part of the role includes managing seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times for guests while balancing the distribution of guests among servers fairly and strategically. This coordination helps maintain an optimal flow and quality of service throughout the dining room.
Additionally, the Host/Hostess communicates seating assignments and updates to servers, which supports prompt and attentive guest service from the moment the guests arrive until they leave. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to handle guest inquiries and conflicts professionally

Job Duties

- track and report guest count to the Restaurant Manager
