Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer-facing roles preferred
- Ability to manage a seating chart and waitlist
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

Job Duties
- Greet guests upon their arrival
- Escort guests to their seats, provide menus to guests and inform them of the name of their server
- Maintain an accurate, fair and up-to-date waitlist and seating chart
- Inform guests when their table is ready
- Oversee the general functioning of the dining room during the meal service period, relaying information to service personnel, requesting feedback from guests about their satisfaction, making adjustments when and where necessary
- Take and manage reservations in restaurants that allow reservations
- Balance the customer flow among the service stations, taking into account requests for a particular table or server, depending on availability
