As a Host at PopStroke, you will be the Maestro of Welcomes, transforming simple greetings into memorable moments that make every guest feel like a VIP. Your role goes beyond seating guests; you become a vital part of the guests’ overall experience, ensuring that arrival and wait times are handled with care and professionalism while communicating the unique features of the venue, such as the mobile ordering concept.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with additional tips, offering a competitive pay rate for those who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environments. As a Host at PopStroke, you will work both indoors and outdoors, maintain a clean and organized host station, manage guest inquiries both in person and over the phone, and collaborate with food and beverage staff as needed to keep the guest experience seamless and enjoyable. Your role is key to ensuring that the venue not only operates smoothly but also stays true to the company’s commitment to fun, energy, and exceptional service.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must have excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous host experience in a high-volume environment preferred
- Previous guest service experience preferred
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Welcome guests to the restaurant and provide accurate wait times
- Monitor waiting lists and escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas while explaining PopStroke mobile ordering concept
- Maintain a clean host area and answer incoming calls and address guests' queries
- Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas including gaming areas and restrooms
- Restock service stations and restrooms
- Assist the food and beverage staff as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a memorable experience for all guests
- Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding the venue, pricing, menu and other information in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain the host area fully stocked and clean
- Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
