The role being offered is for a Host, the contagious first point of contact for guests entering the diner and the warm farewell they receive upon leaving. Hosts play a pivotal role in setting the tone for the entire guest experience by delivering authentic world-class diner hospitality. This position requires a friendly, warm, and energetic individual who embodies the spirit of the Silver Diner brand and sales ethos, particularly around the innovative flexitarian menu designed by award-winning Chef Ype Von Hengst. The position offers an hourly wage plus participation in a tip pool. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with the essential requirement of weekend and holiday availability.

Job Duties

  • coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • handle guest complaints or special requests with professionalism
  • promote specials and flexitarian menu offerings to guests
