The Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel is currently seeking a part-time Host Person to join their dedicated team. This position reports directly to the Outlet Supervisor and plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to all guests. The Host Person is charged with the responsibility of promptly recognizing and seating guests at assigned outlets, ensuring that their initial interaction with the hotel sets the tone for a memorable visit. Beyond greeting and seating guests, this role involves providing attentive and courteous support to servers throughout the dining process. The position requires assisting the cashier with collecting payments for guest transactions and maintaining accurate reports, including handling the payout of tips to servers and service attendants when appropriate.

Candidates suitable for this role are expected to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior fine dining experience considered preferable. The hotel offers various shift options, including full-time, part-time, morning, and evening schedules, providing flexibility to meet diverse availability needs.
