Successful candidates need to be organized, attentive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Managing the waitlist accurately by collecting guest information and providing realistic estimated waiting times is crucial. Furthermore, hosts observe the progress of tables to ensure a seamless transition throughout the dining experience, aiding in floor management. We believe in supporting our team members, many of whom start in this host/hostess position and eventually advance to roles such as servers, demonstrating room for professional growth. Employment in this role is typically part-time or full-time, welcoming individuals aged 16 and older who are enthusiastic about hospitality and guest relations. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • positive and friendly attitude with a customer service orientation
  • familiarity with reservation and seating management procedures
  • basic knowledge of the restaurant menu and offerings

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests presenting the restaurant's menu and sharing Chef's daily features
  • attend to guest phone calls answering questions related to reservations and facilitating the reservation process
  • maintain the waitlist by obtaining guest information and providing accurate quote times for seating
  • manage the floor by observing each table’s progression through service
