Job Description
Transit Valley Country Club is a distinguished, family-oriented private member-owned club located in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Established in August 1921 by nine visionary men, Transit Valley has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the finest golf courses in New York State. The club prides itself on its rich heritage, combined with a dedication to providing first-class social, recreational, and golf experiences for its members and their guests. The recent multi-phase renovation completed in April 2021 has significantly enhanced the club’s facilities. Phase I upgrades included a new kitchen, a pizza bump-out featuring a pizza oven, renovated women's locker rooms, and upgraded lobby restrooms. Phase II brought further advancements such as a new indoor/outdoor bar with 25 seats, two golf simulators with an adjoining lounge, a patio with a fire pit, renovated men's locker rooms with an added bar and card room, and enhancements to the casual and formal dining rooms. These improvements aim to elevate member satisfaction and provide cutting-edge amenities for both leisure and entertainment.
Currently, Transit Valley is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic professional to join its Food and Beverage team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering an unparalleled service experience. The successful candidate will be a true steward of hospitality, consistently striving to exceed member and guest expectations while contributing to the club's mission to offer uncompromising service in a fun, friendly, and engaging culture. This role involves welcoming and greeting members and guests with warmth and professionalism, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and performing opening, ongoing, and closing tasks with diligence. - Previous food and beverage service experience preferred
