The role of Host/Hostess at SodexoMagic is based in the Delta Sky Club at LaGuardia Airport (LGA). This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $21.85. Candidates must have open availability to work any shift, with detailed schedules to be provided during the interview process. As a Host/Hostess, the individual is not only a warm greeter for guests but also serves as an ambassador of the SodexoMagic experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is welcoming and positive.
This position requires someone with a passion for customer service and a strong team spirit. The successful candidate will be punctual and dependable, showing up on time for scheduled shifts regularly. Beyond greeting and seating guests in a courteous and friendly manner, the Host/Hostess may also be tasked with receiving payments and assisting other service personnel to ensure guests have a total satisfaction experience. Handling guest concerns with professionalism and tact is a key component of the role. Additional duties may vary depending on client needs and specific business necessities.
