Job Requirements
- must have at least 1 year experience as a host in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- must have experience using OpenTable
- must possess excellent multitasking, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- must maintain a calm and courteous demeanor in fast-paced environments
- must demonstrate strong organizational skills and professional presentation
- must have a team-first attitude and guest-centric approach
- must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week including weekends
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year experience as a host in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- OpenTable experience required
- strong understanding of seating flow and turn time pacing

Job Duties
- greet every guest with enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
- manage OpenTable reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins with attention to pacing and table management
- maintain clear communication with the FOH and BOH teams to coordinate guest seating, turn times, and service flow
- handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with tact and urgency
- keep the host stand and entryway organized, clean, and visually on-brand at all times
- anticipate guest needs and maintain a sense of calm during peak periods
- uphold the City Cellars standard of presentation, professionalism, and warmth
- manage to-go pickup interactions with efficiency and hospitality
- communicate timing and table updates clearly to managers and servers
- maintain a working knowledge of the menu and specials to assist with light guest guidance when needed
