Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend and twist to perform job functions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous attitude under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret seating charts
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
- Ability to follow cash handling policies
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
- Manage restaurant seating charts and update them regularly
- Assist with setting up and maintaining dining room areas
- Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
- Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform cashier and bus person tasks as needed
- Follow cash handling procedures and maintain security
- Patrol assigned stations and refill beverages
- Assist with cleaning and preparation during downtime
