Job Description

The Stadium Club is a distinguished private club renowned for providing its members and their guests with an exceptional dining and social experience. Established with a commitment to excellence, the club operates as a full-service dining venue that combines elegant atmosphere with attentive service. Members of the Stadium Club enjoy exclusive access to a refined rooftop setting, impeccable cuisine, and a variety of events tailored to create a welcoming community environment. Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards, the club emphasizes quality, respect, and professionalism across all roles within its operation.

The role of Host/Hostess at the Stadium Club is a pivotal position designed to ensure guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. This role intersects hospitality and customer service, requiring the individual to greet and escort members and their guests to their tables efficiently while maintaining a courteous demeanor. The Host/Hostess is also charged with answering telephone inquiries, managing the floor plan, and supporting the service staff whenever necessary. This position demands a poised, engaging individual able to uphold the club's statement of purpose and service guarantees consistently.

Transforming the dining experience, the Host/Hostess acts as the first point of contact and therefore is vital to setting the tone and enhancing the overall impression members have during their visit. Beyond greeting guests, responsibilities include updating and maintaining menus, adhering to attendance and appearance policies, and monitoring special events. This role also involves careful attention to detail regarding club rules such as proper attire, cell phone usage, and smoking policies, ensuring compliance and reporting any violations promptly to management. Furthermore, the Host/Hostess manages "To Go" and room service orders with accuracy and professionalism, reinforcing the club's reputation for attentive service.

Within this comprehensive scope, the Host/Hostess collaborates closely with management and the entire service team to preserve a seamless flow of operations. The position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, and a friendly yet professional approach when dealing with members and guests. Additionally, this role offers a chance to engage in member relations, assist with training new employees, and contribute to the club's success and ongoing positive guest experiences. Commitment to adhering to the club’s policies and proactive problem-solving is essential to thrive in this role, ultimately supporting the operation in sustained hospitality excellence.
