  • Maintain order and cleanliness in dining area
  • Address guest complaints

  • Answer telephone promptly and courteously
  • Take dining room and room service orders accurately
  • Inspect dining room and direct service personnel
  • Take table reservations
  • Knowledge of restaurant, menu, function space, guest rooms, outlets and services
  • Present checks to guests promptly
  • Use customer service standards consistently
  • Handle special requests and anticipate needs
  • Respond promptly to complaints
  • Use guests’ names
  • Ask for guest feedback
  • Be knowledgeable about local area, hotel and services

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of local area and hotel services is a plus

Job Duties

  • Serve food and beverage items
  • Clear tables and return equipment to respective areas
  • Ensure service safety by transporting equipment properly
  • Attend to spills and breakage immediately
  • Assist guests in being seated
  • Deliver meals in a friendly, thorough, accurate and efficient manner
  • Complete daily setup work as required
  • Maintain regular attendance as scheduled
