Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Prior restaurant hospitality experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand and move continuously for up to eight hours
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Proven attention to detail and teamwork
  • Successful completion of training

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and lobby area throughout the shift
  • Communicate guest concerns and dissatisfaction to the Manager on duty
  • Answer the telephone promptly and courteously, take and document reservations accurately
  • Greet and recognize arriving guests, obtain guest names, and direct them to appropriate waiting areas
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus
  • Assist team members to enhance guests' dining experience
  • Accurately quote waiting times and maintain the wait list, inform Manager of delays
  • Complete opening and side work duties promptly
  • Assist Manager on duty with reservation planning and seating assignments
  • Uphold company standards and operating guidelines
  • Obtain and update staffing and station assignments
