With multiple thriving restaurant brands under its umbrella, Heirloom Restaurant Group is currently seeking a part-time Host/Hostess to join their team. This role is pivotal in delivering the warm and inviting atmosphere the group is known for. As the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, the Host/Hostess plays a key role in shaping the entire dining experience from the outset. Responsibilities include welcoming guests with genuine hospitality, efficiently managing reservations, and organizing seating plans to ensure smooth and balanced workload distribution among serving staff. The Host/Hostess acts as a vital communication link between the front of house and back of house teams, relaying important details such as special requests and dietary restrictions to ensure impeccable service.
This position demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are essential to maintain a clean, organized waiting area and to provide accurate wait time estimates to guests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to meet the needs of the restaurant’s operating hours.
