At Stein Eriksen Lodge, guests experience a unique blend of luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and stunning mountain scenery that makes every visit unforgettable. The lodge is part of the Stein Collection, which encompasses four prestigious properties: Stein Eriksen Lodge, Stein Eriksen Residences, The Chateaux Deer Valley, and The Chateaux Residences.
The Stein Collection is revered for crafting legendary experiences not only for its guests but also for its team members and owners. At the heart of the Stein Collection is an unwavering commitment to its staff, recognizing every individual as a vital asset and key ingredient to the company’s continued success. Founded on a strong foundation of respect, community involvement, and a family-like culture, the Stein Collection employs hundreds of dedicated, diverse, and exceptional team members year-round. Many of these employees have enjoyed long tenures, with over 70 team members celebrating 10 or more years of service. This remarkable staff loyalty is attributed to the positive, supportive, and respectful working environment cultivated by the company.
Situated in vibrant Park City, a destination celebrated for its community-oriented spirit and world-class ski resorts, the Stein Collection actively contributes to and supports the area’s extraordinary cultural and recreational efforts. The brand’s standing as a long-established icon in the hospitality industry combined with its ever-growing reputation ensures its position as an employer of choice for hospitality professionals seeking a rewarding career.
The Host position at Stein Eriksen Lodge plays a critical role in delivering an unparalleled guest experience. This position places an emphasis on greeting guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, embodying the warmth and graciousness for which the lodge is known. The host ensures efficient and seamless operation of the food and beverage department by managing daily reservations, coordinating seating charts, and maintaining communication with the manager on duty for approval. Additionally, hosts provide essential door and phone coverage during their shifts, contributing to the overall flow and customer satisfaction in the dining areas.
To excel as a Host, candidates must be knowledgeable about all menu items across all outlets and proficient in maintaining menus for guest accessibility and presentation. Employees enjoy paid training programs, chef-prepared daily meals at no cost, convenient on-site heated parking, and unmatched ski and snowboard benefits at nearby resorts. With flexible schedules and time-off policies designed to support work-life balance along with employee appreciation events, raffles for tickets to local sporting events, and generous discounts on hotel, spa, dining, shopping, and ski/snowboard rentals, the Stein Collection prides itself on being an exceptional workplace that values its team members.
