We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and personable Host to join our dedicated front-of-house team. The Host plays a vital role in shaping a guest's first and last impressions and ensures a seamless seating process that enhances the overall dining experience. This role entails warmly greeting our guests as they arrive, managing the reservation system efficiently, and accommodating seating preferences to maximize guest satisfaction. The Host will be responsible for maintaining the flow of guests during busy periods by managing waitlists and using the NoWait App to communicate with guests about their table availability and wait times. They will also provide essential support to the serving team by guiding guests to their tables, presenting menus, and ensuring any initial needs are met, such as offering chips and salsa while guests get settled. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly, and display a friendly and professional demeanor that reflects our restaurant's hospitality standards. Job Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is not required but preferred
Ability to read and understand simple instructions
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information to guests and other team members
Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
Constant standing/walking
Occasional stooping/kneeling
Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 40 pounds
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas using the spoken word
Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances

Job Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival
Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
Inspect tables for proper presentation
When the restaurant is on a wait for tables, record the guest’s information in the NoWait App and provide the guest with an estimated wait time
Notify guests via the No Wait App when their table is ready
Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
Make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table
Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server’s name
Handle food: chips and salsa
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
Attend all scheduled team member meetings
