Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have or obtain California Food Handler certification
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to read English
  • Must be able to hear accurately
  • Must be able to see clearly
  • Must maintain clean uniform including non-slip shoes, socks, black non-denim pants, company shirt and apron
  • Must practice daily hygiene including bathing and use of deodorant

  • Must be able to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
  • Must be able to see 20/20 with correction
  • Must have or obtain California Food Handler certification before commencing work and maintain it throughout employment

Job Duties

  • Maintains a team and guest focus while performing duties
  • Demonstrates respect and loyalty to the entire team every shift
  • Understands role as a team player with kitchen and front of the house team members
  • Is happy to serve
  • Understands role in achieving the mission statement
  • Follows all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Greets and seats guests, presents menus, informs of special changes
  • Takes guest information and quotes wait times accurately
  • Observes tables and tracks clean, dirty and occupied tables
  • Fills to-go orders if applicable
  • Answers phones and questions concerning menu and restaurant
  • Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Demonstrates personal ethics, values and commitment in the work environment
