We are currently seeking a Host or Hostess to join our dynamic team. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our restaurant as it is the first point of contact for our guests. The role involves greeting and seating guests promptly, cheerfully, and courteously, which helps set the tone for the entire dining experience. Additionally, the Host or Hostess will be responsible for managing phone calls, taking and entering To Go orders, and ensuring these orders are packaged correctly and payments are collected accurately. The position also includes assisting service staff by filling beverage orders, clearing and setting tables, and resolving guest complaints in a professional and timely manner. Communicating effectively with guests and team members is critical to this role, as is maintaining mobility to move efficiently throughout the work area. Furthermore, compliance with health and safety regulations pertaining to food handling is mandatory.
