Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cash handling preferred
- passed tuberculosis skin test within 12 months or dated/issued at age 16 or older
- pass a drug screening test
- able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours
- regularly push, pull, and carry objects
- reach at shoulder level and below waist constantly
- bend downward or forward at waist or knees occasionally
- talk and listen to communicate instructions
- light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force
- able to visualize accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
- close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
- trustworthy with company property
- punctual and dependable
- enjoys multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a host or server preferred
- basic computer skills preferred
- able to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- able to work independently or as part of a team
- possess problem solving and critical thinking skills
- reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language
- basic math and writing
- ability to influence others and maintain control of restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Greet guests with aloha
- input guest name and telephone number into wait-list app
- maintain a safe and sanitary work and guest area
- alert guests through wait list app and confirm guest temperature reading
- manage table rotation and mark table numbers on wait list
- maintain communication with door host and sanitation specialist
- escort guests to their table efficiently and courteously
- be knowledgeable of menu items and promotions
