Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic reading and handwriting skills
  • Ability to operate restaurant front door seating software
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner while acknowledging all guests within five feet of the location
  • Seat guests based on their seating preference when possible
  • Rotate seating with different servers to ensure even workloads and prompt service
  • Provide departing guests with a warm salutation thanking them for their visit and inviting them to return
  • Support service team members by bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables as needed
  • Manage the placement of guests within the entrance area to enhance experience and ensure safety
  • Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly professional manner
  • Maintain a neat and organized workstation and entrance area
  • Complete hosting opening and closing sidework
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Notify management of any potential issues with guests, team members, or wait times
  • Wash hands every 20 minutes and maintain sanitation standards
  • Support front-of-house functions recognizing their impact on guest experience
  • Exhibit a friendly disposition, attentiveness, and provide exceptional service throughout the shift
  • Operate restaurant seating software and assist in shift change setup
