The role offered is for a Guest Host, a pivotal position within the restaurant that focuses on greeting guests warmly, managing the flow of diners, and facilitating smooth seating arrangements. The Guest Host acts as the first point of contact, setting the tone for the customer experience and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and comfortable. This in-person role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy times. The Guest Host will also interact with technology through the NoWait App to organize waitlists and notify guests when tables become available. Other responsibilities include maintaining the presentation of the dining area and coordinating with the serving staff to enhance the overall service delivery. Job Duties

  • Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival
  • open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
  • inspect tables for proper presentation
  • when the restaurant is on a wait for tables, record the guest's information in the NoWait App and provide the guest with an estimated wait time
  • notify guests via the NoWait App when their table is ready
  • accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
  • make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table
  • upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server's name
  • handle food: chips and salsa
  • thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • attend all scheduled team member meetings
