Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously with eye contact, a smile, and excellent engagement
  • maintain an efficient operation of the dining room ensuring excellence in quality, professionalism, and sociability
  • look after all aspects of guest arrival including coat check, seating, and making guests comfortable
  • manage the restaurant reservations system
  • take note of special preferences of guests and update guest history
  • follow restaurant-specific standard operating procedures
  • interact professionally with servers, bartenders, and managers
  • handle and print menus including explanations and communication of menu items
  • assist with day-to-day operation of the front and back of house relating to reception desk activities
