  • prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • must possess a positive attitude and smile
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • proficiency with Aloha POS systems
  • strong critical thinking and time management skills
  • ability to communicate with managers and kitchen personnel clearly
  • willingness to follow directions and ask questions
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • must wear clean, non-slip restaurant industry shoes
  • socks must be worn

Job Duties

  • Welcoming and escorting guests to tables and providing menus
  • managing the wait list
  • answering telephone and directing calls
  • placing walk-in and call-in take out orders
  • preparing beverages and expediting food orders if necessary
  • collecting payment from customers
  • addressing complaints of patrons and communicating guest concerns to the manager
  • ensuring take-out orders are complete and food looks appealing before delivery
  • ensuring all food is delivered to guests in a timely manner
  • maintaining knowledge of all table numbers
  • performing opening, running, and closing duties
  • other duties as requested by manager
