Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time
- Lift and carry up to 10-30lbs
- Food Handler Certificate
- California RBS Certificate
- Sexual Harassment Certificate
- High school diploma or college degree preferred
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
- Must pass background check
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays are mandatory
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while balancing guest preferences and server sections
- Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway
- Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special events
