  • Arrives to work on time as scheduled and ready to work
  • Follows company policies including clocking in and out

  • Greets and acknowledges guests promptly
  • Rotates seating assignments for balanced server workload
  • Supports front of house team members promptly
  • Maintains a neat and organized workstation and entrance area
  • Completes opening and closing sidework charts
  • Ensures restrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked
  • Communicates effectively with team and management
  • Notifies management immediately of potential guest or team issues
  • Washes hands every 20 minutes throughout the shift maintaining sanitation
  • Works with team members to ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed
  • Supports other front-of-house functions recognizing impact on guest experience

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Basic reading and handwriting skills with the ability to operate front door seating software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner acknowledging all guests within five feet
  • Seat guests based on seating preference when possible
  • Rotate seating with different servers to ensure even workloads and prompt service
  • Provide departing guests with a warm salutation thanking them for their visit and inviting them to return
  • Support service team members in bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables as needed
  • Manage the placement of guests within the entrance area to enhance guest experience and safety
  • Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner
