In this full-time role, the Host will manage crucial tasks such as greeting and seating guests in a timely and organized manner, managing the wait list accurately, and assisting servers to maintain smooth operations within the restaurant. Attention to cleanliness and organization is also essential, with responsibilities including maintaining the overall tidiness of the work areas and ensuring that restrooms meet hygiene standards throughout the shift. Physical stamina is important as the position requires standing and mobility for extended periods, as well as the ability to carry and transport items up to 15 pounds when necessary. Strong communication skills help create a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and valued.
