Complementing the food offerings is a carefully curated selection of craft cocktails, featuring original recipes developed by an accomplished team of mixologists. Located in a dynamic and scenic area, The Rooftop Bar offers both locals and visitors a distinctive nightlife and dining option that seamlessly blends quality food, excellent service, and an unforgettable ambiance.
As part of the Hyatt family, The Rooftop Bar benefits from the legacy and resources of a globally recognized hospitality brand known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and employee satisfaction. The role of a Greeter, also known as a Host or Hostess, at The Rooftop Bar is pivotal in forming the first impression guests have when they arrive. This seasonal position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and hospitality to join a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences. As a Greeter, you will be responsible for welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, managing seating arrangements, and guiding guests through their dining options by offering menu recommendations that highlight the unique Baja-inspired dishes.
This position demands strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment. Beyond greeting and seating guests, your role may extend to other responsibilities such as rolling silverware, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with other operational tasks as needed to support the front-of-house team. The hourly wage for this role is competitive at $18.50 per hour.
Working at The Rooftop Bar provides more than just a job; it is an opportunity to grow within a reputable hospitality brand and gain experience in a fast-evolving, guest-centered environment. Hyatt also offers a comprehensive benefits package to its employees, which includes unlimited discounted accommodation rates at Hyatt hotels worldwide for active employees and their friends and family, holiday pay when working on recognized holidays, complimentary employee meals, and various other benefits designed to support and reward its staff.
This role is ideal for candidates who have at least one year of experience in food and beverage or customer service roles, possess refined verbal communication skills, and can maintain physical stamina required for the job. The Rooftop Bar values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all qualified candidates receive consideration without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. Joining The Rooftop Bar team means contributing to a renowned hospitality experience that values excellence, inclusion, and cultural vibrancy, all set against the stunning backdrop of North County San Diego.
