You will also take part in maintaining cleanliness and order at the host stand and guest entrance, keeping menus clean, and adhering to proper trash disposal procedures.
Additionally, the role requires you to have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and to report any maintenance or housekeeping needs to management immediately. High standards for furniture, fixtures, and equipment upkeep must be upheld to minimize breakage and preserve the hotel's assets. The Host/Greeter must execute proper steps of service when seating guests and ensure that tables are set impeccably to create an inviting atmosphere.
Guest satisfaction is paramount, so you will be responsible for responding positively to complaints and taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into loyal return customers. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a host or greeter role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must maintain professional appearance
- Must have ServSafe certification
- Must have valid TIPs certification
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications
- Hands-on food and beverage knowledge
- Comprehensive working knowledge of the hospitality business
- Relevant host experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred

Job Duties
- Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards
