Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (freezer and kitchen environments)
  • Ability to stand and move for up to four hours continuously
  • Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs and pushing/pulling carts up to 250 lbs
  • Excellent hearing, seeing, speaking, and communication abilities
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards
  • Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards
  • Comply with company safety, security, and operational policies
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handler certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
  • Ability to deal effectively with customers using tact and diplomacy
  • Strong organizational and detail orientation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome all hotel guests and customers
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus
  • Communicate with wait staff and other restaurant personnel to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Refill beverages, set tables, and clean eating and serving areas
  • Expedite food orders and assist with To-go food preparation
  • Maintain table condiments such as salt, pepper, sugar, napkins, ketchup, and mustard
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management
