Job Requirements

Previous experience in a host or hostess or guest-facing role preferred ideally within a fine dining or hospitality environment
exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
professional appearance and demeanor
ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
strong organizational skills and attention to detail
availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs as needed

Job Duties

Warmly welcome members and guests upon arrival using names when possible to create a personalized experience
manage reservations seating arrangements and waitlists with efficiency and attention to flow of service
escort members and guests to tables and present menus in a professional manner
maintain clear communication with servers kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service
answer phone calls handle reservation inquiries and provide accurate information about dining offerings and club events
monitor dining room activity to ensure proper pacing and guest satisfaction helping to serve tables and clear tables as needed
maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
uphold club standards for appearance etiquette and confidentiality at all times
