Job Description
True Food Kitchen is a full-service restaurant collection with locations spanning the country from coast to coast. Renowned for its commitment to serving nutrient-dense, thoughtfully crafted dishes, the restaurant offers a diverse menu catering to lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch patrons. True Food Kitchen is more than just a dining destination—it is a place where purpose-driven individuals are invited to join a vibrant and authentic team dedicated to true hospitality.
At True Food Kitchen, the belief that a life of purpose has the power to transform the world underscores every aspect of the company culture. This approach to business emphasizes not only the quality of food served but also the quality of experiences provided to guests and employees alike. Working at True Food Kitchen means being part of a supportive and inclusive environment that values diversity, creativity, and genuine connection with guests and teammates. The company prides itself on offering a fulfilling work experience that allows employees to grow and develop their careers in hospitality.
Currently, True Food Kitchen is seeking enthusiastic and personable Hosts to join their team. The role of a Host is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel comfortable and appreciated from the moment they arrive. Hosts are the first point of contact for guests and play a critical role in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries with a warm and professional demeanor. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can multitask with ease, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service.
This role is available in part-time capacities ranging from flexible hours to up to 40 hours per week, with shifts available in the morning, midday, and evening. True Food Kitchen also offers an attractive benefits package tailored to support the well-being of part-time team members. Benefits include access to affordable healthcare options through Hooray Health, telehealth services, pet insurance for employees' furry companions, and access to Employee Assistance Programs through SupportLinc for personal and family support. Additional perks include a restaurant dining discount, paid volunteer time to engage in community service and charitable activities, and eligibility for the True Giving fund to aid employees during life-changing events.
True Food Kitchen's recruitment philosophy is centered on inclusivity and equal opportunity. The company does not discriminate based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, medical condition, genetic information, gender identity, age, marital status, military or veteran status, citizenship, or any other legally protected characteristics. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of their background, with the company committed to fostering respectful and supportive workplaces where all employees can thrive and achieve their potential.
Joining True Food Kitchen as a Host offers a unique opportunity to engage with diverse guests while contributing to an uplifting service culture. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of a dynamic team that values authenticity and creativity, this role could be the perfect fit. True Food Kitchen is looking for team members who are friendly, outgoing, comfortable standing for extended periods, and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds. While experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement, as enthusiasm and a positive attitude are highly valued.
In summary, the Host position at True Food Kitchen is more than a job; it is a chance to find your true purpose by delivering outstanding hospitality in a company that cares deeply about its employees and customers. Opportunities for professional growth, comprehensive support, and an engaging work environment make this a compelling choice for anyone looking to embark on a rewarding career in the restaurant industry.
