Job Description
Hooters is a well-established restaurant chain known for its vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. With locations across the country, Hooters delivers a unique dining experience that combines casual dining with an engaging and welcoming environment. Established with a focus on customer satisfaction and community engagement, Hooters prides itself on maintaining a high standard of hospitality, quality food, and an energetic ambiance that makes every visit memorable.
The Host position at Hooters is a key part-time role designed to welcome guests with warmth and efficiency from the moment they walk through the door. This role demands a personal and energetic personality who can ensure all guests, whether families, large groups, or business professionals, feel attended to and comfortable throughout their visit. The host is responsible for managing the seating flow, which is crucial to balancing the work of the servers — referred to as Hooters Girls — so that each guest receives excellent service and attention.
In addition to greeting and seating guests, the Host must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including new items and specials. This enables them to answer guest inquiries confidently and assist with To Go orders and merchandise sales, contributing to the overall customer experience and restaurant revenue. The Host’s duties also extend to monitoring the front-of-house atmosphere, ensuring that the lighting, music volume, and cleanliness create a positive first impression and maintain a welcoming environment throughout the guests’ visit.
This role emphasizes the company’s core values: Show You Care, Elevate the Spirit, Respect Everyone, Value Feedback, and Exceed Expectations. The Host plays a significant part in promoting these values through friendly and attentive customer service, strategic promotional activities, and active participation in community outreach and events. The Host is also responsible for cash handling, order accuracy, and helping maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Overall, the Host at Hooters serves as a team player who communicates effectively with other employees to support a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. This position requires multitasking skills, professionalism, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering the Hooters brand promise to every guest.
