Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hosting role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask and handle busy periods gracefully
- Availability to work full time or part time
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of telephone etiquette
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or hosting role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills for reservation management
Job Duties
- Greet each guest and facilitate the guest experience by welcoming them in a friendly and professional manner
- Escort the guests to their table
- Communicate guest concerns to the manager as appropriate
- Manage competing demands with patience and grace
- Ensure the guests are acknowledged when leaving the establishment
- Answer the telephone within two rings using proper telephone etiquette
- Accept and organize reservations, and prioritize reservations to accommodate guests
- Manage the wait list
- Prepare seating assignments prior to service
- Help fellow team members when appropriate
- Uphold the companys processes and procedures
- Organize, stock, and clean the front area
- Complete any beginning or closing shift duties
