Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months of relevant work experience in fine dining preferred
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- ability to perform simple mathematics

- willingness to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification

- ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- escort guests to assigned dining areas
- present menus
- announce waiters name
- offer choice of seating based on guest party size and server availability
- inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them for smooth handoff
- engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- read, maintain and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management
- maintain proper set-up of the dining room
- remain knowledgeable of the menu
- receive, record and make arrangements for reservations and special functions
- keep host station neat and organized
- perform any other job related duties as assigned
