This role centers around providing exceptional, fast, friendly, and professional customer service in a bustling restaurant environment. The position demands an individual who is enthusiastic about engaging with guests and colleagues alike, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and valued. Duties include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and seating rotations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, and assisting servers and bussers with their various tasks. The candidate is expected to be proactive in monitoring table availability and offering guests directions to promote casino events and programs effectively. Additionally, the role requires completion of closing duties at the end of shifts, ensuring a seamless transition for the next team on duty.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience in a high-volume operation preferred
- read, write, speak and understand English
- able to work on a POS system
- able to count cash
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas
- able to reach across tables
- able to stand and walk for up to four hours
- able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and tabletops
- must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
- able to tolerate noise and bright lights
- able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded and noisy environment
- must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold company appearance standards
- must maintain good posture and poise throughout shift
- physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas

Job Duties
- Providing fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff
- greets and welcomes each guest entering restaurant
- seating guests in restaurant as per specified rotation requirements
- maintaining proper seating and reservation documentation
- monitoring restaurant for table availability
- keeping designated working area clean and organized, wipes and assists in maintaining cleanliness of dining room, including cashiering area, as necessary or required, in accordance with established health and safety standards
- assisting servers and bussers in their duties, such as refilling water glasses and coffee cups, helping pre-bus and bus tables, attending to guest needs as necessary or required
- completing all assigned closing duties at end of shift
- knowing and promoting current casino events and programs and giving guests directions to all casino areas
- thanking customers, inviting them back, wishing them luck and making it easy for them to get back in play
