Job Description

Fogo de Chao is a renowned Brazilian steakhouse celebrated for delivering an unparalleled dining experience through the art of Churrasco, a traditional style of grilling meats over an open flame. With a commitment to exceptional service and culinary mastery, Fogo de Chao has established itself as a leader in the upscale dining industry. The restaurant prides itself not only on its exquisite food but also on fostering a warm, inclusive environment where guests and team members alike feel valued and empowered. Their mission revolves around igniting a sense of joy and passion for excellence, caring deeply for their team, guests, and the communities they serve. This ethos is embodied in their core values of teamwork, integrity, excellence, humility, and the unique cultural principle of "Deixa Comigo," which translates to "we've got you," reflecting a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.

Currently, Fogo de Chao is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to fill the role of Host / Hostess / Greeter. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the guests' first impression and overall dining journey by providing a friendly and professional welcome. As the initial point of contact, Hosts and Hostesses are responsible for greeting guests warmly, seating them promptly at appropriate tables, and managing the flow of the front lobby area to ensure an organized and inviting environment. The role requires a dynamic individual who can juggle multiple tasks efficiently, maintain composure during busy times, and deliver a consistently positive guest experience from arrival to departure.

The employment offered is both full-time and part-time, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on relevant work experience. Fogo de Chao emphasizes career growth, offering fulfilling job opportunities that foster professional and personal development. Team members are supported through comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees, as well as voluntary benefits like life insurance and disability coverage. Part-time employees also enjoy essential health plans and optional benefits tailored to their needs.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing environments and who appreciate the importance of the hospitality industry’s role in creating memorable dining experiences. With responsibilities extending beyond guest interaction to include maintaining cleanliness and organization in the lobby area, the position demands a proactive and attentive attitude. Availability to work weekends and holidays is a requirement, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to excellent service every day of the week.

Joining Fogo de Chao means becoming part of a team that values respect, inclusivity, and dedication, where every member’s contribution is recognized and celebrated. It’s an opportunity to grow within a vibrant company that not only feeds its guests but also feeds the aspirations and futures of its team members. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a dynamic, supportive workplace, the Host / Hostess / Greeter position at Fogo de Chao offers a gateway to a rewarding career in the culinary and service industry.
