Job Description

Fogo de Chao is a renowned Brazilian steakhouse that specializes in the Culinary Art of Churrasco, offering guests an unforgettable dining experience filled with discovery and flavor. This well-established restaurant is dedicated to igniting fire and joy through exceptional culinary craftsmanship and superior guest service. With a commitment to fostering a supportive and welcoming environment, Fogo de Chao focuses on the well-being of its team members, guests, and communities alike. The company’s mission, Feed a Purposeful Future, reflects its dedication to creating fulfilling job opportunities and professional growth paths for its employees. At Fogo de Chao, teamwork, integrity, excellence, humility, and the philosophy of Deixa Comigo — which means "we've got you" — are core values that define the culture and daily work environment.

Currently, Fogo de Chao is seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals for the role of Host/Hostess/Greeter. This position plays a crucial part in shaping the guest experience, starting from the very moment a guest enters the restaurant. The Host/Hostess/Greeter is responsible for warmly welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner, managing guest seating arrangements efficiently, and maintaining an organized and clean front lobby during shifts. This role demands a balance of strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a warm disposition to make every guest feel valued and attended to. Ideal candidates will be able to manage competing demands effectively, ensuring a smooth flow of guests and assisting with opening or closing shift duties. Physical stamina is important as the role requires standing for long periods, transporting objects up to 25 pounds, and maintaining a brisk work pace. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is also necessary. Fogo de Chao offers both full-time and part-time team members a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage, as well as access to voluntary benefits such as critical illness coverage, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, and pet insurance. The company values equal employment opportunities and complies with E-Verify standards, making it an inclusive workplace for all individuals interested in a vibrant and dynamic restaurant career.
