Job Duties
- Greet members and guests promptly and professionally providing a welcoming atmosphere
- manage the seating chart and coordinate table assignments to ensure efficient service
- escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- communicate wait times and reservation status with members as needed
- manage phone and online reservations ensuring accuracy and proper scheduling
- work closely with servers and management to optimize dining room efficiency
- monitor guest flow and table turnover to minimize wait times
- assist with event seating arrangements and special dining requests
- build relationships with club members recognizing frequent guests and their preferences
- handle member inquiries complaints or special requests with professionalism
- maintain an up-to-date knowledge of daily specials club events and dining promotions
- ensure the host stand entrance and dining areas are clean and organized
- assist in setting up menus table arrangements and special event decor
- monitor the appearance and presentation of the dining room reporting any issues to management
