Job Description
Fogo de Chao is a renowned Brazilian steakhouse known for its authentic Churrasco grilling and exceptional dining experience. Founded with a deep passion for culinary art and cultural tradition, the company has grown into a celebrated restaurant chain offering guests an immersive and unforgettable meal that highlights the magic of fire-cooked meats and the warm hospitality of Brazilian cuisine. The establishment prides itself on its mission to ignite fire and joy not only in its dishes but also in caring for its team members, guests, and the communities it serves. The company values teamwork, integrity, excellence, humility, and the philosophy of Deixa Comigo, which translates to "we've got you," reflecting their supportive and cohesive culture. This hospitality-focused environment ensures every guest feels welcome, cared for, and engaged from the moment they step through the door.
Currently, Fogo de Chao is looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join their team immediately as Hosts, Hostesses, or Greeters. This role is essential in shaping the guest experience, as hosts are the first point of contact, setting the tone for an exceptional dining occasion. Hosts greet guests in a professional yet warm manner, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and comfortable. They manage seating arrangements by guiding guests to their appropriate tables promptly and efficiently, balancing multiple priorities seamlessly to maintain a smooth flow during busy hours. The role requires maintaining the front lobby area by organizing, stocking, and cleaning as needed throughout the shift to keep the environment inviting and orderly.
Beyond the core responsibilities, hosts are expected to conclude service interactions on a positive note by bidding guests farewell and ensuring they leave satisfied. They also perform various opening and closing duties as required, contributing to the overall operational success of the restaurant. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with people while supporting a team-oriented culture.
In terms of employment type, Fogo de Chao offers part-time and full-time positions that come with opportunities for professional development and personal growth at every level. Team members benefit from a supportive atmosphere that values each individual's contributions and fosters a purposeful future. Full-time, hourly team members are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of employment, along with company-paid life insurance and short-term disability where allowed. Part-time team members also have access to health plans, dental and vision insurance, and a variety of voluntary benefits ensuring their well-being and peace of mind.
Fogo de Chao proudly identifies as an Equal Opportunity and E Verify employer committed to diversity and inclusion. The company’s dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported complements its mission to feed a purposeful future starting with its team. Joining Fogo de Chao means becoming part of a passionate, dynamic team that works tirelessly to bring the best to the table every day while enjoying excellent benefits and a meaningful career path.
