The Hostess role at the Club is a key position responsible for managing the dining room operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all members and guests. This role involves greeting members warmly, handling reservations efficiently, and overseeing the seating arrangements to maximize comfort and service efficiency. Beyond these core responsibilities, the Hostess acts as a vital communication link between the front-of-house team and the members, anticipating their needs and providing assistance wherever necessary. The Hostess is expected to uphold the Club's mission and values by delivering service with a smile, embodying hospitality excellence at every interaction.

Additional duties include preparing the dining room for service, participating in pre-meal briefings, and maintaining an inviting hostess stand. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a similar role or industry is preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- well-developed problem-solving abilities
- ability to work flexible shifts and overtime
- ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds
- capability to stand, walk, and bend frequently throughout the shift

Job Duties
- Takes reservations and assists in organizing tables and room layout according to reservations
- greets and seats members as they arrive to the Club and brings menus to them
- assists servers and bussers with anything they need such as bread, butter, water, reset tables
- directs flow of traffic both to dining rooms and other areas of the Club
- maintains all menus, ensuring they are clean and current
- thanks members and guests and invites them to return
- keeps mint jars stocked for members
- keeps hostess stand and surrounding area clean
- performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager
- attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Food and Beverage Manager or Manager on Duty
- follows the Club's mission and values, including providing the best quality service possible
- other duties as assigned
