Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a similar role or industry is preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • well-developed problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work flexible shifts and overtime
  • ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds
  • capability to stand, walk, and bend frequently throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a similar role or industry is a plus
  • strong people-oriented skills
  • well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives
  • ability to seek out new methods and incorporate them into existing practices
  • ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • punctual and reliable
  • flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime if necessary

Job Duties

  • Takes reservations and assists in organizing tables and room layout according to reservations
  • greets and seats members as they arrive to the Club and brings menus to them
  • assists servers and bussers with anything they need such as bread, butter, water, reset tables
  • directs flow of traffic both to dining rooms and other areas of the Club
  • maintains all menus, ensuring they are clean and current
  • thanks members and guests and invites them to return
  • keeps mint jars stocked for members
  • keeps hostess stand and surrounding area clean
  • performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager
  • attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Food and Beverage Manager or Manager on Duty
  • follows the Club's mission and values, including providing the best quality service possible
  • other duties as assigned
