Job Requirements
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with teamwork focus
- Demonstrate hardworking and professional dedication

- Obtain California Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hour shifts
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 20-40 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to handle face-to-face verbal communication effectively
- Attend work as scheduled including various shifts and business hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- California Food Handler Certificate
- Previous host experience preferred
- Fluency in English
- Preferred languages include Mandarin and Spanish
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide a sincere welcome and goodbye
- Maintain an accurate list of guests waiting and record party details with estimated wait times
- Notify guests promptly when tables are available
- Provide guests with menus and address their initial questions
- Manage crowd control and seating rotation to ensure fairness and efficiency
- Handle guest complaints professionally and seek quick resolutions
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information
- Perform opening side work and weekly maintenance duties
- Collaborate with team members to assist guests and meet operational needs
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
