Job Requirements
- Completed high school education or equivalent
- 6+ months guest-facing hospitality experience preferred
- polished communication skills
- proficiency with reservation and POS systems
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable attendance
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capability to perform light lifting up to 20-25 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable noise and temperature
- required use of slip-resistant footwear
Job Qualifications
- 6+ months guest-facing hospitality experience preferred such as host, concierge, or reception
- polished communication, phone and email etiquette, and professional demeanor
- comfort with reservation platforms and POS basics
- familiarity with Google Workspace a plus
- strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- reliable attendance and schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet every guest with a warm, genuine welcome
- maintain a professional presence at the host stand
- anticipate needs such as celebrations and special requests and personalize the experience
- provide clear wait-time quotes and manage expectations with empathy
- manage reservations and waitlists using platforms like Resy, SevenRooms, or TOCK to optimize seat utilization
- execute seating plans based on floor plan and server rotation
- monitor table status and communicate delays to guests and team
- share key guest details with servers and update system notes
- address guest concerns with composure and escalate when needed
- maintain clear, courteous phone and email etiquette
- keep host stand, entry, menus, and signage organized and presentation-ready
- support lobby and coat checks, restroom spot checks, and ADA accessibility
- assist with menu updates and daily event signage
- use reservation and POS tools accurately and support to-go/pickup coordination
- follow DOH standards and allergy protocols
- adhere to responsible alcohol service policies
- partner with front-of-house team to protect ticket times
- participate in pre-shifts and trainings and model company values
