We are currently seeking a dedicated Host to join our team in a full-time role. This position plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of the dining and lodging areas by welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and facilitating a positive dining flow. The Host is often the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for communicating effectively and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive energy level, and a strong commitment to teamwork. Alongside greeting and seating guests, the Host will also assist with tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and managing third-party online orders. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • ascertains their dining/lodging needs
  • seats guests and manage the seating chart
  • monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
  • responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • performs opening and closing duties, as needed
  • assists others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
  • helps fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
  • assist with outside sales from Toast Online ordering and other 3rd party services
